WTF: Paris Hilton’s new BFF

Spoiler alert…
BRITTANY?! I am so SO disappointed in her choice! I guess I should have known she would pick Brittany since Vanessa seemed to be the obvious choice and no reality television star wants to be accused of being a bore. I mean, aside from the fact that she was a tiny bit of a suck-up, Vanessa is TOTALLY the better choice for Paris. To me, Vanessa is exactly the kind of girl that the show set out to find. I can’t believe this!
Honestly, though, I don’t feel too bad, because from what I saw on the “Inner Circle” part of the show that followed, being Paris’ BFF seemed kind of…boring. Prepare to be blown away by your new friends: Paris’ sister Nicky (I’ve always liked Nicky), Paris’ aunt (I’m close with my relatives but I think it’s weird that she considers her aunt part of her Inner Circle) a random guy, a random girl, and Keyshia Cole. WTF? Then they go on to have a “slumber party” and have THE. Dullest. Conversation. Ever. And it seems like even though Paris herself has chosen Brittany to be her BFF and made her pass all of these tests, this random Inner Circle gets to test her, too, even after all of the time and energy she has spent convincing people that she is a true friend and not trying to use Paris. Which she totally is, BTW. Brittany’s blasé attitude annoys me even more than her narsty, unkempt hair and the fact that she admittedly showers only once every three days. It’s good that she has emphasized how she doesn’t want to be Paris’ BFF for the perks, because after watching this final episode, I’m left to wonder: are there any?
